같은 학교 문화콘텐츠문화경영학과 1학년 학생은 “용금액들을 벌고 싶어 기간제 아르바이트를 구하려고 해도 관리하기 힘든 상황”이라며 “최근에는 편의점과 식당에 장시간 근무하다가 가게 사정으로 인하여 어쩔 수 없이 일을 그만두게 된 친구들도 불었다”고 전했다.
아르바이트 경험이 있는 청년의 약 50%는 특정 성별을 선호해 채용을 거절당한 경험이 있다(남성 37.0%, 여성 40.5%)고 응답했다. 현재 임금 업무자인 청년 중 다니는 직장에서 남·남성이 하는 작업이 구분돼 있다는 데에 여성의 32.5%, 여성의 44.9%가 '그렇다'고 대답했다.
